The World Champs track "Speedster", which the downhill elite has to conquer this weekend, is not for the faint of heart! The best reach speeds of up to 65 km / h on the rough terrain. The professionals were last able to get an impression of the 2.3-kilometer course at the 2019 World Cup. It combines steep passages with demanding root carpets, stone fields, hairpin bends and huge jumps. In the World Champs year, riders can look forward to a few exciting changes and innovations.

Unlike in 2012, the World Champs track for the cross-country events will be built in the finish area at the Asitzbahn. With a length of 3.6 kilometres and 210 metres of altitude difference, it is waiting for the World Champs athletes and will demand everything from them. The first competition, which is the team relay, will certainly be exciting. In addition, the feed and assistant area will be set up in the immediate vicinity of the start and finish area as well as the pump track. This way it's the perfect location for visitors, as the pros will pass by several times.

In the newly built World Championship Cross Country track at the foot of the Asitz, a few extra challenging sections will be added to make it attractive for the e-bike riders. Thus this new track will be the focus of two world championships.
